CMWC Greenwood
Canadian Military Wives Choirs Greenwood was founded in 2016 by Darcy Gaudette who was posted from Comox to Greenwood and was part of the CMWC there. With the assistance of a few other ladies, the choir began in October 2016.
Practice occurs on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm at St Mark’s Protestant Chapel 14 Wing CFB Greenwood.
Musical Director: Vanessa Moncrieffe-Gauthier
Vanessa Moncrieffe-Gauthier grew up in Montreal, went to a performing arts school called “FACE”. She has 2 music degrees from McGill University. She has extensive musical experience in various choirs, performing arts, and she also plays clarinet. She is currently a music teacher in the Annapolis Valley at various schools and we are incredibly lucky to have her and her expertise to make us sound amazing! She is also a military spouse to her husband Leo and they have one son, Liam.

Past events/performances have included Invictus, Mommy’s and Daddy’s fund raiser, Steer parade (best float), Canada Day events, Remembrance Day events, nursing homes, Christmas concerts at the Legion and in Greenwood, Christmas Carolling, Relay for Life, end of year concerts, Air Show Atlantic
