CMWC Edmonton

  • Who We are

The Edmonton Canadian Military Wives Choir is a three-part women’s choir composed of Alto, Soprano 2 and Soprano 1 that was founded in September 2015.

Our mission is to bring together currently serving or retired female CAF members or military spouses/wives/girlfriends/sisters or moms of CAF members, or members of the DND community during their time at the Edmonton Garrison. The choir aims to provide free performances to audiences who may not be able to attend regular performances and to share their love for the musical arts.

  • We participate in annual community Remembrance Day celebrations and the national No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation ceremony, provide free concerts for veterans, and have other events during the holiday season, join our local musical community in festivals and every year wrap up with our spring/summer concert. You can find us practicing weekly on Monday evenings at Our Lady of Loretto Chapel at Edmonton Garrison.

We are more than just a choir; we are a support system. We are made up of spouses and Military members who are here to help you through deployments and stressful times. We are a shoulder to cry on or a friend to laugh with.

If you are looking for a network of supportive women and happen to love singing, come check us out! No singing or music reading experience is required!
